Password Protection

Hi there,

I’ve got a question about password protection. I want to start a little photo-blog. There will be photos of general things and of friends and family.
The ‘normal’-user without a password should only see the not restricted posts.
I don’t want anyone who visits the blog to see faces of friends, etc.
My idea was to have a password form as kind of a widget and everyone who knows the password can see all posts.
I wouldn’t like everyone to have to sign up and be a member, but I also don’t want no one to see the general posts and make the whole blog private.
Perhaps someone had a similar idea and has done it before?
