Hiding tags but still index by search engine's?

  • Hi all,

    I am new to wordpress but have 3 blog up and running on the moment. I don’t like the tags showing everytime. Is there a way to not show the tags but they are still visible for the search engine’s like Google?
    Some answers are remove the_tags(‘tags: ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘ ‘); but I don’t see this in my index.php.
    The two theme’s I am using : Twenty ten 1.0 for this site
    And News Magazine Theme 640 for this one
    The other blog is using this theme as well.

    Is there a plugin for hiding but not deleting! the tags?
