    Hi there,

I’ve just came across your plugin and looks to be one we’ll need for a project, however, we’re looking to create a filter from an ACF Repeater that includes text, select and taxonomy fields.

I realise it’s quite a complex data set to use for a filter and I couldn’t find any information if it’s possible.

Is this something that your plugin is able to create a filter from and if it is, where would I best look for information on how to create it?

Would purchasing the Pro version make a difference, we’re most likely going to be purchasing that anyway but wondered if it works with Repeaters out the box.

    Thanks!

    Hi @augmentblu

Thank you for your interest in Filter Everything plugin.

In general Repeater contains subfields and potentially you can filter by them. But all subfields have dynamic keys like “fieldname_0_key”, “fieldname_1_key”, “fieldname_2_key” and so on. In this case you CAN TRY to create filters by these keys. BUT you don’t know how many times repeater will be used for post/product and it seems it is bad idea to create 10 potential filters. Also all them will be separate filters like:
    Repeater 1
    – term 1
    – term 2
    Repeater 2
    – term 3
    Repeater 3
    – term 4

I’m not sure such repeater filters will be ok for you.

    Thanks for your reply.

I did think it would be a headache but wondered if there was a simple approach, seems not. I’ll have a think about simplifying the filter to generalise the content held in a repeater, that will probably be a better method.

    Thanks again.
