    Hello,

I have a site with WooCommerce installed. I am getting two Wordfence messages in the dashboard that say:

“XML-RPC authentication is disabled. Jetpack is currently active and requires XML-RPC authentication to work correctly. Manage Settings”

    and

“WooCommerce appears to be installed, but the Wordfence Login Security WooCommerce integration is not currently enabled. Without this feature, WooCommerce forms will not support all functionality provided by Wordfence Login Security, including CAPTCHA for the login page and user registration. Manage Settings”

When I go to the settings page to disable/enable the above mentioned settings on the Login Security Settings page for Wordfence and click save my selections are not being saved and the messages persist?

I also tried to enable ReCaptcha and enter my keys and those settings are not saved either?

Any thoughts as to what could be occurring? Thank you for your time.

here is a video screenshot showing the issue in action if it helps.

Hi @card-one-concepts, thanks for getting in touch and providing some great detail there.

It looks to me like there’s a possible Javascript conflict that’s preventing the SAVE button from performing the action it’s meant to. Disabling all plugins except for Wordfence is one method to see whether Wordfence saves changes in isolation. If it does, re-enable the others one-by-one to see when the issue returns if you haven’t tried this already. I would also recommend returning to a default theme such as Twenty Twenty-Two during this time to eliminate the possibility of custom code in your theme being the cause rather than a plugin.

It is also entirely possible for browser plugins to interfere with login page scripts, so reverting to an incognito/private browsing window or a different browser to your default choice would definitely be worth a try to see if the issues only appear in one browser – which may point to a local browser plugin, or even caching, rather than the site itself.

Let me know if you try that with no success, perhaps supported by screenshots of your Browser Console displaying red Javascript errors, which can be uploaded to a service like Snipboard and shared here for us to take a closer look at.`

Let me know how you get on,

    Peter.

Hello, Thank you for your reply.

I have a staging site that I tried all your suggestions on.

I disabled all plugins as suggested, I also tried switching to a default theme with all plugins deactivated. I then tried another browser in private/incognito mode and ran the inspector and am not getting any script errors to provide you screenshots.

But the issue still persists. Any thoughts on what else I can try next?

    Thank you for your time.
