Hide listing type

    Hi,

    I want to create a new type of list that would be “Services” and then a category “Hospitals”.

    The problem is that I don’t want it to be visible in the “listing form” page.

    I would like only the administrator or editor to be able to add or modify this type of list.

    Is there a way to do this?

    When you are adding category under type of listing, Ad Type field will show in form page usually.

    Do you have only one type of listing or have multiple type of list for different category?

    Hi,

    Currently, I have 3 types of lists: sell, request, services.

    Sell and request have the same category, but services will have different categories.

    So, you can not hide Ad-type from listing form because categories depends on ad-type.

    So, it’s impossible to hide a list type, okay.

    Is it possible to hide a category?

    If you don’t want to use ad-type, you can hide it from settings but you can not hide specific ad-type from listing form.

    I am not sure about your purpose, how will you use a category when you will hide it from listing-form that means you will not add any listing under that category then how will you use it?

    Hi

    Yes indeed, it’s a bit weird, but this is the solution I found so that only the administrator or the editor can add or delete this kind of announcement.

    Or use a different plugin for this type of ads.
