• We are having problems with the RSVP page not showing that RSVPs are closed after the maximum number is reached. Even though the confirmation e-mail sent usually states that names were not added due to maximum RSVP being reached, the RSVP page itself still allowed people to respond, and gave them the message on the page that the RSVP was recorded, giving them the impression that they were added to the list (though the RSVP report did not have them). We ran a test RSVP of this and had several different manners in which the screen displayed. Only a few people saw the message that RSVPs are closed but this was not consistent even with the same browsers. Some people saw the message that “7 signed up so far. Limit 7”, but instead of showing that RSVPs were closed, all the blanks for the form were still available to be filled in, and the individuals were able to submit another and have the system show the RSVP was recorded. The e-mail they received stated “Max RSVP count limit reached, entry not added for”, but the system still let them submit. As of one hour after reaching max number of participants, I currently have only Google Chrome that shows RSVPs closed, and Firefox and Edge show max number reached, but still allow the form to be filled in and an RSVP submitted.
