Calendar event popup to show event location. time and other details.

    What I want to do here is to add more dynamic information to the events popup on the main calendar view.

    For example any existing fields of custom fields for an event such as time, location and etc, could be shown as you hover over the event title on the calendar view. Could this be achieved by template overrides? I need some guidance on this.

    I hope my explanation was clear. Please let me know.

    All of these things are possible, but require you writing custom code that is beyond the scope of the support forums here.

    You can learn the basics of customizing things like you mention by reading our official Themer’s Guide here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

    Then, take those principles and build on them to display specific data where you want to.

    Be sure to make backups of your site before customizing anything, and backups of the customization files themselves.

    Thanks. I’m familiar with the knowledge base and template overrides but I can’t seem to find the file I need to edit for the popups on the month view. Could you let me know what file it is at least?
