• Hi there,

I’ve been using Polylang for years on various sites without issues.

However, I switched to the twenty twenty-two theme with its Full Site Editor and site templates and template parts.

Is Polylang not compatible with FSE?

I have created translated header and footer template parts (menus, etc) for each language and assigned them to a corresponding site template (Single Post, Homepage).

    However, that doesn’t work.

It seems to me you can only have one site template for the Homepage active?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

The compatibility with FSE is available only in Polylang Pro. See https://polylang.pro/doc/full-site-editing/

    Hi @chouby ,

    thanks for your answer.

That’s a real bummer as it effectively paywalls the same functionality depending on the Theme we use.

In other words, menus in the header and footer have been perfectly translatable in the free version.

By simply updating one’s Theme, this functionality is suddenly lost – was that a deliberate business decision you made, or accidental?

Is there any chance you’d reconsider?

After all, it’s not anything new your free users would get, but simply maintaining the free functionality when changing themes.

    I appreciate your support!
