I’m sorry to hear that you’re seeing MailPoet-related PHP notices in your PHP logs.

We’ve seen such notices happening before after restoring site’s backup. Can you please confirm that it’s not the case?

I see another report of this same “Notice: unserialize(): Error at offset in ******/lib/Doctrine/Types/SerializedArrayType.php” error in our support system, and in that user’s case, they resolved the issue by deactivating a separate “Bounce Handler” plugin that they had installed.
Do you have a Bounce Handler add-on currently active on your site? If so, please try deactivating it and see if that clears out that Notice.

Also, can you please try to re-install the plugin by following these steps: Re-installing / Updating the Plugin via FTP?

Not an installed Bounce Plugin. It is not a backup restore. If I install Mailpoet again, do the saved configurations remain?

Do you mean the data from the MailPoet plugin? If you re-install the plugin via FTP following our steps in this article, you don’t need to worry about it.

You won’t lose any data, and no additional database queries are run.

Was this resolved? I have exactly the same problem. And DB is not from a backup

I put a debug trace in the file from which the problem was reported (mailpoet/lib/Doctrine/Types/SerializedArrayType.php on line 27) and found that the erraneous data originates from a form I created (so deleting the form got rid of the error message).

The problem is that the data you try to unserialize is corrupted due to unescaped double quotes inside a double quoted string.

You may want to show this example of corrupted data to your dev team: (the problem starts at ‘s:306:”<span style=”font-family: Concert One” data…’

No reaction from MailPoet yet… This is an annoying bug that can probably be easily fixed. I don’t understand why we should contact “Pre-sales support”??

Thanks for the heads up @christer_f, I deleted an old unused MailPoet signup form and it removed the error message.
