    Hi there,

I have been struggling a great deal creating a unique front page for my site. I have tried various ways but with no luck.

I do not want the frontpage to be the same as any of the other pages on my site. There for this is not to much help:

Using a Page as the Front Page
A Page can easily be set to be your site’s Front Page. Visit the Administration > Settings > Reading panel and under Front page displays, you can choose to set any (published) Page or Posts Page as the Front Page. The default setting shows your blog with the latest blog posts.

Is there any way I can create a frontpage? I have made a template which directs to an other versio header.php called headernew.php but doing this does not show the content of the new header. I am not even sure this is the way to do it. I can’t seem to find any information on this so hopefully there is a kind heartet soul out there to help me… I have posted it a few times with no repsonses. Will be extremely gratefull to get just some kind of advice!

    thank you very much
