Sorry about the title I will try to explain what I m trying to do.
moving. website from webflow to woocommerce. on webflow a product has 4 options say
    socket long
    socket short
    socket standard
    socket extra long
on selecting one of these options it then gives you specific variables for it.
so picking socket long would then give you option 1 2 3
picking sockets short would give you a b c
is this possible in woocommerce witha add on or something

    thanks in advance

  • I use two plugins that should help you accomplish that:

    Variation Swatches for WooCommerce

    And

    WooCommerce Attribute Stock

With variation swatches plugin, when a customer selects “Socket Long” you can make it so only the variations in stock for that particular attribute display to customer. You can make the out-of-stock variations greyed out, show with a cross through it, or hidden.

With the attribute stock plugin you can set how many items you have in stock for any attribute/variation combo and with the pro version you can make it so the customer can’t purchase items that are currently out of stock. Say for “Socket long” you have 6 in stock of “1”, 2 of “2” and 9 of “3”… you can enter in those stock amounts so a customer can’t over purchase stock you don’t have (you can also set up to allow customers to over purchase stock if that’s how you want it).

Hope it works out for you.

    Hi @cybermo77

I understand that you need variable products to be available as separate products.

In addition to @tkster95 ‘s suggestions, you can also take a look at Variations as Single Products for WooCommerce plugin. It makes variations of a product to behave like single products. You can read about the plugin’s features and options here: https://woocommerce.com/document/variations-as-single-products-for-woocommerce/

Just so you know, in the WooCommerce.com marketplace we offer a 30-day refund policy so you can test the extension and make sure it works for you the way you want.

Thank you both for the recommendations I will have a look at them.
