I used third party plugin to do header and footer. (elementskit) Elementor installed (free version)… Now when i change background (to custom black) or menu text (custom white) it always gives a white background and menu text goes dark grey colour on live site. So, Saved my header as a basic header template and …..

I have disabled all plugins, turned all experiments off, Changed from HELLO Theme to Twenty Twenty Theme, All cache (+ Server side)… covered basically everything and it still happens with only elementor there! Reached out to ELEMENTOR support but i am fobbed off as I do not have a pro licence, OK, If it does not WORK why would I BUY A LICENCE??????????

Has anyone experienced this or can shed any light on this issue please? I have looked through the forum and anything similar, Elementor team DO NOT HELP!

Are you using Elementor Pro without a license?

    It’s not a trick question.

UPDATE: Things are clear now. The issue is that the Global Colours when selected do not show (they take the themes set colours no matter what global set colour I use), If I set the colours from the palette (inputting the hex code manually)they work perfect.

I have elementor override theme colours so there is definitely an issue here. I appreciate the offer to help but at the moment the site is in staging. Thank you

Has anyone had this problem before?

Further Update: The same thing happens with the Global fonts too, manually setting this works, as a work around. So to summarise: Using global colours and fonts take on the theme settings (sometimes not but its never the global colours or fonts I choose). Elementor is set to overwrite theme so has priority.

    Any pointers much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Seems that the issue appears on a header from a third-party plugin.
I suggest you contact the third-party plugin’s support.
