• I don’t expect this to be written out in the comments. But how do you convert an already coded website (made using HTML, CSS, and javascript) into WordPress?

Links of videos or blogs that would enlighten me. I am unable to find a straightforward answer I keep getting links that say use this and that, I am completely new as I’m sure others have been and will be.

  • If you want it to look and work exactly like the existing website, there’s no simple way to do that. You’d need to create a new theme to mirror the old site using WordPress’s template system/files.

If you’re happy ot use a pre-built theme and add your content to it, you can most likely cut-and-paste a lot into the new site.

I’d like to keep the design I’ve done, and I’m not looking for an easy way out here. Literally looking for instructions on how to do it so I can learn.

There is no single how-to guide for creating a new theme. The reason for that is that there’s a lot of different ways to do it, all depending on skill level, knowledge and the themes individual needs.

The best place to start is the Theme Developer Handbook and the Theme Basics pages as that will have everything that you need to get going.
