I want to test the Jetpack Social plugin on my staging site before doing it in my production site but trying to find out how to do this is just an exercise in frustration.

I installed the Jetpack Social plugin on the staging site and created a connection to my wordpress.com account. I edited the wp-config.php file to let Jetpack know it is a staging site.

But when I go to Manage my sites, it only lists my two production sites. How do I add the staging site to the list of sites to be managed? I tried the route for adding a new site but that is only for setting up a new domain–not what I want to do. I want to add the staging site to the list of sites I want to manage.

I have tried following the Contact Us instructions but they just lead me in a circle.

Need some help? You may find the answers to your questions in our Jetpack support documentation using the form above. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please login to your WordPress.com account to contact us.

I have logged in and relogged in several times but I still don’t find a Contact Us form for help.

I log in and click on Contact us and get taken to an “Ask a question” page that does not have a link to a contact form so I am trying this forum.

Please tell me how to add the staging site to be managed.
