tags4page issue in released WP 3.0

After a clean install and enabling tags4page plugin, the text field to enter comma separated tags appears in the Page edit form, but the tags are not (apparently) saved, nor does the page get picked up for the tag cloud.

Is this plugin still maintained? Or is there something like it for WP 3.0 that can be used to tag Pages?
