Yoast slows down my website

Hello,
If everything is updated correctly.
If I remove Yoast the upload of products goes great, if I activate the yoast plugin it stops working. It’s just yoast. Did you know what it could be?

We would suggest doing a conflict check to see if you can reproduce the same slowness with only WooCommerce and Yoast SEO enabled. You can do this also by using a default theme like Storefront. You can do that with the troubleshooting mode of the Health Check plugin, so site visitors are not affected while doing those tests.

I have storefront and only activated the woocommerce 6.9.4 plugin and the yoast seo 19.7.1 plugin, if I remove the yoast plugin I can upload a product perfectly, if I activate the yoast plugin I can no longer upload a product because it keeps thinking nonstop.

Thank you for your reply and for including the health check info, which they help very much to understand your setup.

Looking at the details more closely, we see you have a lot of product variations, and we know and have seen in the past that when that’s the case. WooCommerce is also slowing down a lot, see https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/20262 for a few tips and tricks that might improve performance.

I have read the link, and they say many things.
My website is not slow. It’s just slow to add products, and this happens because of yoast.
I have already tried removing yoast and it goes super fast, but if I activate yoast I can no longer upload products

We’d recommend checking a few additional items to help us diagnose the cause further:

We do know Yoast SEO taps into the WordPress API to make calls, so on some server configurations this may result in unexpected behavior. If you were to reactivate the Yoast SEO plugin (if you deactivated it) and then go to Yoast SEO>Dashboard>Features can you then confirm that the Text Link Counter and MetaBox Insights features are both disabled?

If you do that does the issue resolve?

If the issue is still occurring, to troubleshoot further we’d like to get some information on our site’s database calls.

From it, we only see a product edit page and a few indicators in your admin bar, like the loading time of 2,6 seconds.

What Carl asked earlier is to dive in and see what database calls or Yoast SEO calls are taking a long time to narrow down what is causing the issue. Please know that it is hard for us here on the forums to help with troubleshooting this from an outside standpoint.
