I currently print my USPS labels from within my Woocommerce dashboard with Woocommerce shipping. This plugin seems to grab the tracking number as expected however, there is the extra step of clicking ‘add tracking info’ button and copying/pasting the tracking number required in order to save the tracking info to Woocommerce’s (not thee plugin’s) record for that order.

It seems odd since despite what I just described, the tracking info *IS* included in the ‘Completed Order’ email (although you have to perform the extra step if you want the USPS widget embedded) and is always visible under ‘Shipment Tracking’ when viewing the order detail. Why not just add the tracking number to Woocommerce’s record when it is adding it to the plugin’s record?

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Hi @daveh0,

We have an integration with the WooCommerce Shipping plugin in AST PRO.

When you generate the shipping label within your WooComerce dashboard tracking information will automatically add to the shipment tracking order data.

You can read more about this integration here.

    Thanks

ok so you need the pro version, gotcha. Can you also tell me if the Pro version is required to embed the Tracking Widget into emails customized by Email Template Customizer? Both say they’re compatible with each other, however once I started using that plugin to customize my emails, the widget no longer appears.

    Hi @daveh0,

AST Free is compatible with Email Template Customizer for WooCommerce. You need to add the WC Hook component to the completed email template in order to add a tracking widget to the completed email.

    Thanks
