How to block the cookie _fbp?

  • “Facebook for WordPress” appears to be creating a cookie named _fbp.
    (When I deactiviate the plugin, the cookie doesn’t show up any longer).
    I am aiming to block the cookie initially, until users opt-in (GDPR compliance).

    Are you employing Script blockers to accomplish that in your WordPress cookie plugin or
    any other method? (in my case it is the plugin by “Borlabs”)
    The cookie _fdp can be attributed to which line of code/javascript in the “Facebook for WordPress”-plugin?
