    Hi Tobias,

Congrats on the 8M downloads! Outstanding accomplishment.

Question, I just reinstalled TablePress (to make sure Im using the latest version), imported my Google Sheet, did a little CSS to change the header color. Everything worked great! At least until I shared it with co-workers and looked at the page in Incognito mode: https://sephardicu.com/literature/. None of the images load.

I searched through the forum but couldn’t find any answer except to install latest version of TP. I am not using any caching plugins, but rather use 10Web Booster instead.

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

How did you add these images to your table? As images in the Google Sheet? I’m afraid that that will not work then, as Google does not allow loading them from externally (except for yourself, as you are logged in and have the access rights to view the Google Sheet). Notice how the image URLs all start with https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/docsubipk/AD....
To show these images on your website, you’ll need to upload them to your own server. You could do that e.g. via FTP and then just update the URLs in the TablePress table, or you could use the “Insert Image” button below the table input fields to upload them and have the necessary HTML code created automatically.

    Regards,
    Tobias

Thank you for the quick response. Yes, I was importing images and data from a google sheet in which I was pulling images within the cells (=IMAGE(*https……jpg”). I deleted all of that and downloaded the images. Then uploaded them to my WP media library.

I am manually adding images in the TablePress cells by selecting the cell (insert image) then selecting an image from the library. The image is still appearing. I also tried just copying the image url on my server and pasting that into the cell. It also does not show.

    Any other ideas?

This is the image data that is populating into the cell when I select an image from the library:

I deleted all the images from Column A. I’ve tried unpublishing the google sheet, downloading it as an html file, an excel file, and still every time I add an image to the TablePress cell and Save, when I go to view it incognito, the image is missing. AND if I copy image url, it still shows https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/docsubipk/AD… like Google is embedding that regardless of whether I have pictures in the spreadsheet or not.

    What am I missing?

    Hi,

I would recommend to add all images manually from the media library (the embedded image above shows that these image URLs are working). Before that, please make the relevant cell empty. Google Spreadsheets will not influence your TablePress table after the initial import.

    Regards,
    Tobias
