how to update and find css modifications to place in child theme

  • I’m using the mystique theme 1.21. and want to update to 2.4.2.
    I’ve been using the old version for a while now and have made changes to the css.

    I set a mystique child theme directory so that from now on I can make css changes there and they will never get overwritten.

    My question is: if I upgrade will my other settings in the mystique theme, such as header images, 3-column, etc, be replaced? I just don’t want to have to redo my site redesign/customization entirely. I don’t care if font color, size, or whatever css changes I made to change, but I do care about the layout and images – the big stuff.
