How to make more columns for footing

I’m new to WordPress and purchased a theme called Cashelrie from themeforest. Under my Appearance-Widgets I’m able to make new sidebars but lost how to make them appear on my site. After making the new sidebars I looked at my function.php file and don’t see it being registered.

When googling this I see post for the twentytwenty theme instructions but don’t think this applies to my theme’s setup. Would appreciate if someone can point me in the right direction.
