    Hola Jose,

This looks like what i need. I need to export 110+ post that are made with wp bakery to “normal” posts.

All post has images with this kind of codes [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”166″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Some posts has 6 images for example.

Is it correct that the images will be replaced with the original images instead of the short codes ?

I try to import them with the steps but all say failed to import. (the post is from a CPT to normal post type)

    Cheers
    Marcel

    Hi @itism64

the plugin will replace the shortcode with pure HTML that will include the URL of the image.
In the exported XML file instead of the shortcode, you will find something that looks like

Then what happens during the importing process is not influenced by this plugin.

Using this plugin while you export the file is exactly the same as manually replacing the shortcode with pure HTML before exporting the XML file. Nothing else.
For example, imagine you have a post where in the content you have [vc_single_image image=”166″ img_size=”full”]. Imagine you edit that post and you replace [vc_single_image image=”166″ img_size=”full”] with , and then you export the posts.

When VisualComposer is active it outputs instead of the shortcode. This plugin just “freezes” the output of the shortcode as pure HTML, and you don’t need any more that VisualComposer is active.

This plugin has no impact on the importing process.

    Have a great day!

    Jose

    Hola Jose,

Did a “small” test and looks like this is briljant and for I am looking. I dont see the images you post here by the way.

Will do full test later this week and keep you updated. It is a big time saver for sure.

If you would change the description of your solution i am sure a lot of users will find and use it.

    cheers
    Marcel
