Version 2.8.0

  • An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 782 of the file /usr/www/users/sabusnvkfm/wp-content/plugins/modern-events-calendar/app/libraries/filesystem.php. Error message: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is no longer supported

    This error caused our entire site to go down, resulting in loss of income, which seems totally unacceptable.

    I have deactivated the plugin and at least the site seems to be working again, except for the calendar.

    WordPress version 6.0.2
    Active theme: Divi (version 4.18.0)
    Current plugin: Modern Events Calendar (version 2.8.0)
    PHP version 8.0.24
