• Dear plugin creators,

After selecting a subfolder, the file manager always jumps back to the root folder. It is therefore not possible to edit files in the subfolder.

    Problem:
The file Manager jumps back in root folder – Unable to edit files in subfolder

The same happened to me and it worked by logging in incognito mode. This would be an alternative to clearing the cache.

    Dear All,

I have the similar or same problem.

I have installed WP FileManager Pro and configure the right things.
I set the root directory to /home/ishop/public_html/shop/文件管理資料夾/ instead of the default /home/ishop/public_html/shop/ . Please refer to my screenshot at https://intelligent-shop.com/shop/文件管理資料夾/Screenshot1.png?_t=1668199985

I can upload or drag files to the folders on FileManager Pro with no problem.
    Refer to https://intelligent-shop.com/shop/文件管理資料夾/Screenshot2.png?_t=1668199985

But FileManager Pro can give me the wrong URL link at https://intelligent-shop.com/shop/Screenshot%20for%20Trash.png?_t=1668190934 and it shows this error “Oops! That page can’t be found” when I double-click any files on the root directory. After I have corrected the URL to become like https://intelligent-shop.com/shop/文件管理資料夾/Screenshot%20for%20Trash.png?_t=1668190934 , it works.

That means Filemanager Pro has missed my Sub-directory for its created URL and use the original default root directory to create all URL links.

I have cleared all browser caches but it cannot work.
I have also tried many methods and change other settings for testing but nothing can work.
Can you tell me how to fix this bug ?
    Thanks !

    Best Regards. Cloud
