Newbe Blues

Hi,

First thing, I believe that I have the latest version however it is
a “GoDaddy” website edition – if that matters.

I installed it and tried to post up for the first time and the font
is HUGE… I figured there must be a simple way to highlight and
click something or enter a new font size value but I guess it’s
not that easy ?

So, now, I need to code even for font size ?

That’s the little stuff – I have seen smashing coverflow style
stuff that can go on WordPress Sites ! WOW – but here is my
question…
These types of things need to be added to the site immediately
up front on the web-design right ? because some changes require
global re-installation and everything has to be done over ?

Just want to ask this question because if I can figure out the
little things, then, I’d like to try and design it nicely from the start
if possible – I’d hate to have to tear everything down to add a feature
because i did not ask a critical question or two first to those whom
may have made a few mistakes before me.

If there is a simple go to page for beginner beginner blogger,
A link to it might be nice.
