    Dear Support,

    I have a problem regarding default sorting for when i choose sort price low to high of high to low it sorts all the products in the shop! but what i want from it is to sort only the products in the selected category.

    Thanks for reaching out!

    I was able to test the issue on your site above that when I select the category, then filter the price, it searches the whole product catalog.

    I replicated this on my test site using the Filter by Price and Product Categories List Widgets.

    Then, filter the price from $0-$30. This is the final output wherein only 3 results showed under the category: Accessories.

    This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin present on your site. Can you please try to perform a full conflict test and see if that works?

    Thank you for your reply! I think you misunderstood me, for i am not talking about the price but what I am aiming for is that there is a default sorting button in my shop page which offers different types of sorting. What I want is that when I choose a category and then select the type of sorting it will sort the products in this category. While, what it does now is that it sorts every product in my shop page which is not what i need. I am going also to attach a screenshot for better understanding.,

    I apologize if I misunderstood your issue here and thanks for clarifying this further.

    I replicated the scenario once again on my test site using the category: Accessories. By default, sorting is by popularity:

    Then, I tried sorting by price: low to high.

    Please see that on both testings, products were sorted accordingly, and sorting was done inside the category: Accessories.

    Can you please try to switch to default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is active and see if this works?

    If it did not resolve the issue, please share your System Status Report, that will help us further troubleshoot.

    You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

    I did ask Elementor about the issue and they did not respond yet !

    I made two threads because the replies were too slow and it was frustrating honestly and till now its not solved, and btw i did not know about the forum rules ??
