    Hi @n1koloza

the fastest solution is going back to the previus version that you can download here: https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/freesoul-deactivate-plugins.1.9.2.2.zip

However, I wonder how this is possible. Do you have the PRO version?

The last version has a hook for the PRO version to be able to deactivate specific plugins on the 404 error pages. So, very probably going back to the previous version will solve the issue.

Is it possible to share the page where you have the issue before going back to the previous version? It would be great if I can understand what is going on and solve it so that next time you update the plugin all works right.
During the testing, this issue didn’t come out, and I’ve checked again right now, and theoretically, this should not happen. Maybe it’s a conflict with another plugin or the theme.

If you can’t wait, of course, I totally understand it. In that case, I suggest you go back to the previous version, and I will try to reproduce the problem. In that case, please provide me with the list of your plugin and the name of the theme. You can go to Freesoul Deactivate Plugins => Tools icon => Favorite Plugins => Export the list. See here to see how to export the list of plugins.

    Thank you, Nika,

I’ve installed all the plugins on your list excluding the following ones because they are premium plugins and I haven’t them:

    automatorwp
    bp-auto-login-on-activation
    bp-better-messages-websocket
    bp-force-profile-photo
    bp-modify-member-directory-header
    bubbler-near-me
    bubbler-request-chat
    buddyboss-platform-pro
    buddyboss-platform

Until now I was not able to reproduce the same issue.

    You wrote

Does v. 1.9.2.2 also give the same issue given by 1.9.2.3?

Do you have a staging environment where you can update again to v. 1.9.2.3? In that case, I would give some suggestions to find out the cause of this issue.
If you can’t have a cloned website for the testing let me know, and we will proceed in a different way.

In any case, please answer the following questions:

    – Do you have also the PRO version of FDP? If so, did you disable any plugins for the 404 error page?
    – Did this issue about the links occur on all the pages or only specific pages? If so, which pages?
    – Are all the links affected or only some of them (e.g. only in the head, only in the main navigation, only in the main content, only in the footer…, only those ones addded by BuddyBoss…?
    – Does v. 1.9.2.2 also give the same issue given by 1.9.2.3?
    – What theme are you using?
    – Would it be possible for you to provide me with the plugins that I miss (listed before)?

    Have a great day!

I’ve updated it to 1.9.2.2 now and there’s no issue with it. the latest version has a problem.

    About questions:

    – I don’t have the PRO version of FDP, I’m using the free version.
    – the issue is in every link, especially the link where I’m saving changes from the frontend. for example, I’m using the buddyboss platform plugin and theme and when I’m getting into the user profile and making changes to it, in URL ?fdp-404=true appears and changes don’t apply.
    – 1.9.2.2 doesn’t have the same issue. the issue is pointed to 1.9.2.3
    – I’m using the BuddyBoss theme.
    – I can give you staging platform credentials to debug if you need.

Sorry for the late answers, I’m online from now.

    Thank you,
    Nika

    Thank you @n1koloza

As written in my answer to your email, some pages created by Buddyboss Platform are seen by WordPress as 404 error pages. FDP v. 1.9.2.4 fixes this conflict with Buddyboss Platform.

Let me know if you still have issues.

    Have a great day!
