Plugin no longer works.

    Hi.
    I’ve tried to resolve an issue with a Dev on this team, see here for that conversation.

    I now see the plugin no longer works at all, and instead shows the URL of the video I’ve linked to.

    The prior attempts to resolve this issue failed, however, the conversation was labeled “Solved”.

    I’m just going to chalk up my wasted time with this plugin to…my list of great wastes of energy and time I’ve spent with wordpress plugins.

    Thanks but this doesn’t work.

    About your issue, We tried to reproduce your issue on our multiple websites, and we have installed all the plugins you have on your website. We have also tried multiple times but every time it is working on our end.

    It seems that the issue is only happening on your site so can you please check for plugin conflicts by following this: You can check for Plugin conflicts by deactivating all the third-party plugins one by one except for EmbedPress. Simply go to your WordPress Dashboard and navigate to wp-admin -> Plugins and then, deactivate other Plugins.

    If that does not help please provide us your Site Health Information from?Dashboard > Tools > Site Health > Info > Copy site info to clipboard:?https://d.pr/i/KDbAny

    And simply just paste it here. This will help us to reproduce this issue on our end.

    Well all the comments back and forth between me and the other ‘devs’ that were ‘working’ ont the issue that they themselves saw, have been DELETED from the orginal post.

    They said the issue which they could see was caused by my iFramely plugin, and that they were workibg on it.
    I mentioned that my issue was not resolved although they had marked it ‘resolved’.
    So that made me create this thread here, after I realized that thread was going to be ignored, stating that now that I removed the Ifraemly plugin, the EmbedPress shortcode was only producing the URL that the video file was linked to. Now the thread is deleted.
    After reading how you want me to de-activate plugins one by one, and test, re-test, and test some more….. you see, I’m not a paid develeoper who has resources like a spare website I can experiment with. My site has already suffered from EmbedPress’s failures, most readers will not look at the aricles agaain to see the videos now appearing via Vimeo. So none of those few thousand ppl saw them.
    Anyway, thanks, but I”m just going to have to use other methods.
    I suspect this comment will also get deleted with time.
