I am using Wordfence. I got a message that the plugin has a security leak but Wordfence is not mentioning what the problem is. Any idea what the problem could be?

    Dear @pietgolf,

Thank you very much for reaching out,

As of now we have no recent cases of registered security leaks on the side of our plugin,

Nevertheless we remain ever vigilant and would be immensely grateful to you if you are able to extract more logs/details from Wordfence that would provide more insights into the issue and send it to us us using the following form”. Please mention this forum post link in your email’s subject line.

    Thanks a lot in advance!

I got the same alert from Wordfence, but it’s not a security leak — it mentioned a security vulnerability. You guys should probably contact them for details.

I also got the same alert from Wordfence. In some cases, Wordfence will provide a link with more information about what the vulnerability is, but in this case no link is provided, just a link to the plugin’s page on the repository (here).

Here’s a screenshot of what I’m seeing in Wordfence:

I’d suggest that plugin authors reach out to Wordfence to see what vulnerability they’ve found.
