Subscriber only content

  • I would like to be able to add posts that only someone with a username and password to my site can see and other posts that anyone can see. I don’t see how that’s possible now but I think the would be a big bennefit.

    The basic idea is that I want to have a family site that my friends and family can come to to see pictures of my family. I will create user account for all the people I want to have access so they can see these posts. I want to post a slideshow to a post but only have it visible to users.

  • You can do this already with some plugins. You may want to look at one called ‘Member Access’ where you can stipulate some pages/posts as logged in members only. I also use Mingle to add a little social networking.
