Cannot change my blog language

    I have installed the 3.0 english version and later decided to change it to spanish by uploading the .mo spanish files into wp-content/languages and changing the wp-config.php file with the following line.
    For my surprise the blog still shows up in english (both front and admin). What have I done wrong?

    define (‘WPLANG’, ‘es-ES’);
