Featured posts scrolling loads badly

Hi all,

Not a major one, but there’s a bug-bear I have on my site that has been there since Day one. When you load it up I have the three most recent posts in a featured posts div to scroll in the page (take a look at betterretailing.com . But before you do, here’s the problem. While the script is loading all three stories are displayed thus making the whole site look ‘broken’. This isn’t a major problem, but when the script takes a little bit of time to load, it can get a bit annoying.

I’ve tried speeding everything up, minimising files and things to help, but I wonder if there’s a better permanent fix? Either a script/plugin that does a similar thing (perhaps even better) or a way to force the div to only display one story before the script has loaded?
