• Hey ?

Thank you for sharing these fine Gutenberg Blocks with the rest of us.

Are you aware of the few accessibility problems related to the Image Hotspot Block?

First, none of the hotspots are accessible by keyboard navigation, rendering the block to be practically unusable to fellow people who rely on using their keyboard for navigation websites. It’s a shame, cause peaking at the HTML markup, it should be possible to achieve without too much effort.

Secondly, Google Chrome Lighthouse does throw some warnings, resulting in a sub-par synthetic accessible score.

[aria-*] attributes do not match their roles

That said, many of the other Getwid Blocks are perfectly accessible, which is unfortunately not the standard amongst block plugins – so thank you for that.

    Kind regards
    Bjarne

    Hello Bjarne!

First of all, thank you for your feedback. I’m glad to hear that you find our Getwind blocks “fine” ??

As for the hotspots’ accessibility, I would like to inform you that we already have this feature request on our list of features and if we collect more similar requests from our customers, our developers definitely consider such an impovement implementation in one of the future plugin releases. So stay tuned, I let you know if we receive any updates on this matter.
