    Hello!

I love your plugin very much, I’ve been using it for 1 year and I’m very happy, but now there’s a problem.

The problem exists when the option “Enable stock filter support for variable products. WARNING: this beta option may slow down products display on sites with many products and/or slow servers.” is activated.
When this option is enabled, the new (latest uploaded products) do not appear on my shop page, when I disable the option this problem disappears. please help me

    Hello Marinow1991,

Thank you so much for your kind words about our plugin!

The code behind the variable products’ stock status support option has been recently updated to take advantage of the new WooCommerce lookup tables. This version of code is much more efficient and fast and it is auto-enabled on all sites with the Enable table usage option checked on the WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Advanced admin screen. If you go to this admin section, you will see the Direct updates option right underneath the “Enable table usage” checkbox. Please enable this option to resolve the slow lookup tables updates issue.

    Marinow1991,

Unfortunately Vimeo doesn’t allow to watch the video that you have shared without a log in!

To force the WooCommerce to update the lookup record of a product that doesn’t seem to have its stock status properly reflected by the filters, can you please go to the WP admin page of one of such products, and push the Update button to see if this resolves the issue?

    Yes, that solved the problem!
But do I have to do this every time I import csv products?

Were those products imported after you enabled the Direct updates option of WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Advanced tab, or before?

If you use the official csv import tool provided by WooCommerce, I would expect it to automatically take care of the lookup tables. But then again, these tables are a rather new feature, so maybe they didn’t get to it yet.

There also exists the Regenerate the product attributes lookup table option, it is located in WooCommerce > Status > Tools. It allows you to regenerate the lookup table for all the products, but I suppose it should be rather heavy for everyday usage.

If you were happy with the older implementation of the filters’ Stock filter variations support option, you can of course disable the lookup table usage and go back to the previous version of the code. But that would be a pity, since like I said, the new version is much more efficient!

    Hello,

No, the products were imported before I ticked the option.

Next week I will import new products to my site and see how things behave.

    thanks

    Dear Marinow1991,

Let’s hope that the newly csv-imported products will get automatically submitted to the lookups table! I will keep this thread opened for some time in case you wish to provide feedback for us and other users of the plugin,

    Have a great day!

    Hello Marinow1991,

I will close this inactive thread, but please don’t hesitate to write back if you ever wish to provide feedback on the WooCommerce CSV import support for the lookup tables!
