I’m using Clean-talk and Contact Form 7 together. When I submit a contact form using a VPN it flags it and asks me to send without my VPN on, and then when I try to send again it says it cannot send because I’m trying to submit from a “high-risk spam network” which I assume is China in general – where I am based, but also where my clients are based!

I have EXACTLY the same set-up on a different page, but the template is Oshin instead of Uncode. There I have no issues with or without VPN. So I have no idea where this is coming from…

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello, @korestudios

Please, deactivate the CleanTalk plugin with the Complete Deactivation option:
WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced Settings —> enable “Complete Deactivation” —> Save Changes.
Plugins —> Installed plugins —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Deactivate and Activate

After that, try it again. Also, please open your browser console and look for errors. You have a lot of Uncode template errors.

I did all that, and updated my template (it JUST flagged that it needed an update). Issue is still there. I’m getting a flag of potential issues with litespeed and cloudflare, and I’m tackling that next, but I don’t think it’s related to this.

    VPN on Portland – fails.
VPN on Los Angeles – works just fine.
    No VPN – fails.

Could you please install the dev version?
    Download link: https://github.com/CleanTalk/wordpress-antispam/releases/download/dev-version/cleantalk-spam-protect.zip

Here is a guide for you:
    1) Go to WordPress Administrator Panel —> Plugins.
    2) Find the plugin “Anti-Spam by CleanTalk” —> Deactivate.
    3) After the automatic page refreshing find the plugin again “Anti-Spam by CleanTalk” —> Delete. Confirm “Yes, delete these files”.
    4) Download the plugin archive from the link above.
    5) Go to Plugins —> Add New —> Upload Plugin.
    6) Choose the downloaded archive and press “Install Now”.
