Unit status is red and “products not found”

    Lately, the status of my units has been turning red occasionally. After renewing cache, they turn green. Today, they were all green, and I clicked on renew cache just to make sure, and they all turned red. I renewed cache multiple times and they’re still red.

    So I looked up at the supports and took some info. I enabled web page dumper by following the steps for github and heroku apps. This is the link that I configured https://web-page-dumper-22.herokuapp.com/ . Now, when I test it, this is the result “500: Internal Server Error https://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/”.

    And by looking at the error log. I get this error ”

    Please note that my amazon associates is still under review in its 4th months as I havent achieved 3 sales. Therefore I dont have a API key.

    So, am I missing something here?

    Hi,

    Your Web Page Dumper instance seems to be returning the 500 HTTP error. You might want to log in to Heroku and restart the dynos and see if it fetches web page outputs by entering a test URL.

    When I created heroku, I clicked on the Deploy link, and after clicking Deploy, the app failed to be created. So I manually created a new app in heroku, and connected github from there. Does that make a difference? Because deploying from the deploy link is not working.

    By the way, the statuses somehow are now green, but please ket me know about the heroku issue

    Glad to hear the unit status become normal.

    If you have managed to create a new instance of Web Page Dumper via the backend of Heroku, it is totally fine. The deploy link button is just a shortcut for it.
