Header jumpers around on page load

  • Hi Guys,

    Im hoping someone can help me with this. I have spent a few days trying to resolve this by checking other peoples solutions on the forum, deactivating plugins, reinstalling, uninstalling, changed themes, you name it, I have tried it.

    I cannot seem to find what is causing this. The only thing I know is that when i changed to another theme, it stopped and when I changed back it happened again.

    Some info on what I am using:

    Astra theme
    Litespeed

    I have pretty much removed most of the other plugins trying to resolve this, so I have elementor and woocomerce plugins left.

    When you load the page, the header jumpers into place. When you click through the pages, it does the same thing. I suspect it has something to do with java, which I am not very knowledgeable on so any assistance would be appreciated.

    I have since gotten a response from another thread on here that say it is indeed java. I have been using litespeeds delay function, but have tried disabling it and cleared the cache since and it hasn’t made a difference. The issue this causing though is I kind of need to delay the java script to improve issues on page insights, so not sure how to get around this?

  • Hello, I have the same problem, I have tried all kinds of configurations, but the problem persists. When trying another theme the problem does not appear because I could also confirm that the problem is with Astra, the only difference is that I use Wp Rocket, but if you use a different caching plugin, this should not be the problem.

    Please try to exclude the following JS files from Delayed Javascript Execution option of WP Rocket

    wp-content/themes/astra/assets/js/minified/frontend.min.js
wp-content/themes/astra/assets/js/minified/frontend-pro.min.js

    Hello, thanks for the answer, for the moment that exclusion has not solved the problem,

    I’ll give you a screenshot so you can see how the header jumps, (the mobile menu appears on the computer). This happens between load and load between pages. The header jumps out and spreads across the screen. This error is only from the computer.

    I believe it’s due to something in WP Rocket configuration. Please try to reconfigure it. You might need to enable/disable the option one by one in order to spot what option that causes this.

    Hello, I have not been able to solve the problem yet, I followed the recommended steps also in this open ticket https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/menu-in-header-no-longer-correctly-formatted/ but after several days the error appears again.

    I also see that there is another topic that also mentions the same error, but has not been able to solve it, and has not received an answer about it either https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/screen-flash/#post-15520223
