Bypass billing address fields for virtual products

For virtual products, we minimized the number of fields on our checkout pages to only mail address, first name and last name (and phone number optional). But when the MyParcel plugin is activated, it’s required to enter a billing address to proceed. We can’t proceed and see the error message: “Billing address is required” on top of the page. When we disable the MyParcel plugin we can checkout without this error message.

So, is there a way to bypass the necessity of address fields on the checkout pages of our virtual products? We now added it to our checkout page, to make sure everything is working, but want to get rid of these extra fields when it’s not necessary. As it worked before installing the MyParcel plugin.
