Notification for sold or passed on plugins

For security and peace of mind, I wish when a plugin ownership was passed on there was some type of additional notification, or at least it was noted on the plugin page.

When deciding on which plugin to choose, who maintains it and “owns” it factors in. Also there have been plugins in the past that after someone takes it over it you know what direction it’s going to go.

It shouldn’t take me so long go figure out that yes, that’s a different owner name then used to be there.

I’m not suggesting it’s a bad thing, however if the information was easily accessible it would save time, and a choice for switching or not could be made from a place of information and clarity instead of going through the whole what the heck is happening here feeling.

I’m not sure why it isn’t noted in the Changelog, and it doesn’t have to be fancy, if it was just at the bottom of the details page…
