    Hello,

Language menu won’t work after last update.
If we’re connected to the website, it works well but when disconnected (visitor), the language menu switch don’t display other languages anymore.
    Is there any fix?

    Thanks
    Best regards

Hmm… after I posted this, I checked a couple of other clients’ sites that are also running this plugin (because I wanted to turn off auto-update for them), and I saw they’re already updated and running just fine.

So I went back to the site that was having the trouble, manually downloaded the latest version (2.9.14) again, and installed it over the top of the copy that was there. (Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, and then choose the option to overwrite the existing version with the uploaded version.)

After doing that, the site is working fine again. So I’m not sure if the developers released a hotfix without a version number update and I just happened to get the broken earlier version on this one site, or what… anyway… there’s a tip for you to try. I’m curious if it will fix it for you too!

    Hi,

It seems to be caused by your caching plugin. When you are logged in, cache is off. It has nothing to do with the latest update. Currently I see that browser is complaining about missing jQuery library in the console log.

You can try to go to GTranslate Settings page and click Reset code to default under Widget Code section. Please note all your customizations will be reverted and you have to do them again, but it should solve the issue with missing jQuery, since previously we had added a check for jQuery library which can be loaded later than we need it because of some caching plugins.

    Thanks! ??

    Hi @edo888,

I supposed there was an issue with caching stuff.
“Reset code to default” trick worked.
Hope it could help someone else!

    Thanks
    Best regards
