Unable to download export file

  • After I click on Download Export File in Export Menu under Tools, this error appears.

    Could not find the file to download.

    Previously it was on version 2.9.2. But it doesn’t work.
    So, I tried upgrading to 3.0 but it doesn’t help at all.
    Still same problem.

    Wonder why is this happening. Anyone can help me with this?

  • I know this is an old post but, by any chance, did you install wp-migrate-db? I’ve had to disable it to get the function working again.

    I did not. What I want is just export all the content inside and put it on another WordPress site.

    However, I just backup the whole database and put it in new host.
    So, the export wasn’t working after all.

    @egravel I’ve had this situation happen to me today as well. Disabling that plugin on the client’s site remedied the problem. Thanks.
