Kubrick alternative?

I’d recommend going in search of a non-fixed-width theme and using that, if only because A. Kubrick’s design centers so much around it’s fixed dimensions, and B. modifying Kubrick for this would involve more than just changes to the css and templates (there’s the background graphics to consider, as well).

I’m trying out a 1.5 theme called “Steam” it’s based on Kubrick but wider, the way I like it.

just remember some people only have 800*600 screens. thats why kubrick is only 760 wide.

what you could do, is do a template switcher in your sidebar and create a fixed width template for people with 1024*768 or higher and one for 800*600.
