Has ANYONE been successful setting up Ad Manager to work with Web Stories

    Banging my head against the wall…wondering if ANYONE has been successful setting up Google Ad Manager to deliver ads into Web Stories?

    I have Ad Manager setup and delivering Ads to my website (so Ad Manager works). I created an Inventory Ad Unit as prescribed in the documentation and a corresponding Line Item (albeit, not an Ad Exchange Line Item).

    Ad Manager reports that my ad is getting impressions, HOWEVER when going to any of our Web Stories no ads appear.

    Please know I have stepped though the documentation and either I am completely void (which is possible at the point from banging my head on the wall), or I am missing something so simple that it has eluded me.

    Your help or insight would be most appreciated.

    If there is ANYONE out there that has successfully got Ad Manager to work such that it will deliver ads in Web Stories?

  • @terrymiddleton I understand your frustration that you’re having issues with your Ad manager setup but please don’t open multiple topics for the same issue. As noted on your original topic we are unable to help with Ad Manager setups and any issues with ads not showing on your Stories. You will need to reach out to the Ad Manager Help Center for further assistance with this.

    @adamdunnage – I 100% understand. Please know it is not my intent to cause stress to anyone there and ask questions nobody can answer.

    I thought (maybe incorrectly) that I was posting a topic to the community in hopes of another user who had success would respond. If not, is there another (user centric) forum I should be posting to that you are aware of?

    I did post a message to the Ad Manager community and received the same response I received from you which was to read the documentation.

    I’m not frustrated, just on a quest to solve this pesky little issue of using Ad Manager to deliver ads to our Web Stories, so that, we can generate revenue for both us and Google.

    Let me know if there is another place I can/should be posting my questions.

    @terrymiddleton No problem at all and we do hope you can get this resolved also. The Ad Manager community would be the place to go which it sounds like you already have so hopefully someone from the community can help you through this and get it working for you.
