    Hi,
I’m new to WP. I’m using WP 6.1 / 2023 theme; I’m be grateful for help or advice. I’m building a site that includes a résumé section with a custom post type called “experience”.
–I want to include custom fields: start year, start month, end year, end month, a description of duties.
–I think ACF is the right tool — but I don’t know how to show the custom fields I create. I want to add them to a query loop, but cannot figure out how to do that.
Apologies if the answer is dead obvious — but I would be, again, grateful for pointers about how to do this (or where to read something clear and succinct) about how to do this.
    Thanks,
    André

There is the ACF Views plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/acf-views/) that allows to display posts and ACF fields, check it out, maybe it’ll help you.

    Hi @rumples2022

ACF Support Team here. This forum is generally used by ACF users helping each other out.

However, we would love to continue investigating and troubleshooting this issue, please can you create a ticket using our support form and we can look into it further.

I’ve the same problem. I tried to use short codes but in the archives, it’s not possible to get the post id in short codes.

With global $post in short codes we have only the first post, not all the post of archives.
And in twenty twenty three theme, there isn’t file archives.php…
