• Hi,
I’m using a drop down menu as primary menu. The text that appears in the top menu, (the text you click on to expand the drop down menu) is not linking to any page on my site, yet it is wrapped in . Google PagesSpeed Insights now complains that this ‘Link is not crawlable’. How can I fix this issue?
    Thanks!

  • Hello,

If the link does not link anywhere, try adding a # as the URL. However, you may want to disable it completely using the Menu Item settings in the admin dashboard. Edit your menus and disable the menu item using the following clip as a reference:

    Hi @ghernkadence,
I tried using # as the URL, but the issue persists. However, your idea of using using the Menu Item settings sounds great, but I don’t seem to have this option. Do I have to activate it from somewhere?
    Thanks!

    Hello,

You asked a great question! Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that it is a premium feature, and you need Kadence Theme Pro to access the Menu Item Settings. I apologize, as I sincerely thought it was a WordPress feature! However, if you have Kadence Pro, you can enable the Ultimate Menu feature in the admin dashboard by navigating to Appearance > Kadence.

@ghernkadence Thanks, but unfortunately, I don’t have Kadence Theme Pro. Is there another way to make this tag go away?
