Past events descending order issue

    Hello @brianhogg,

    The link is to a list of past events. This site uses Beaver Builder and I’ve already reached out to them, but they said to contact you.

    I’m having a problem getting the past events to display in descending order, even though I’ve set the module to do so. I just updated their Events Calendar plugin, but there is still a problem. Do you know if there is a fix coming out for this soon? I’ve checked your site, but don’t see it in the fixes.

    Since this doesn’t seem related to my The Events Calendar Shortcode & Block plugin (ie. I don’t see the output of our [ecs-list-events] shortcode or block on the page), I’ll let the team at The Events Calendar reply if they have any thoughts ??

    As a note, our plugin could do something similar (with some styling) with just:

    [ecs-list-events past='yes']

    Otherwise, unless The Events Calendar created the Beaver Builder module, it might be Beaver Builder that would need to fix any kind of ordering issues.

    Hi there, thanks for the quick response! I’ve already reached out to Beaver Builder and they sent me to you. I can go back if I must. It seems strange because I did work correctly with Beaver Builder in the past. I hesitate adding another plugin, but if there is no resolution, I guess I have no choice.

    Our upcoming update (in about 10 days) contains a fix for the issue.

    Hi there,

    With our latest release of The Events Calendar 6.0.4, we resolved an issue that caused errors when trying to fetch events. Please be sure to review our full Release Notes for more details and update your plugin whenever you get a chance.

    As always, we suggest testing updates on a staging site first and having a recent backup, but it should all be smooth sailing. If you implemented any workarounds, you can remove them after updating the plugins.

    If you still have issues after updating to the latest releases, please open a new support thread and include any specific details and screenshots if possible.
