[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Can't Install or upgrade at WP 3.0.1

After switching to 3.0.1 I can’t install or upgrade NextGen Gallery. During installation I have got Error 500 but when I want to upgrade from 1.4.x I have “looped” upgrade process (Start upgrade now… -> Continue… -> Start upgrade now… ->Continue…) WP is hosted on 1&1.com. Any idea what is wrong. Thanks
