WebFinger endpoint does not return valid JSON

Hi @pfefferle, I have downloaded the ActivityPub plugin on two of my websites (both hosted on Hostinger), so I can point them to Mastodon, but on both I get the same error:

Your WebFinger endpoint https://ricmac.org/.well-known/webfinger?resource=acct:[email protected] does not return valid JSON for application/jrd+json.

I’m wondering if this is something I need to tweak on my host? I saw your replies to @aphandersen above, but I didn’t understand what the solution for him ended up being.

Update: via another message I found this URL that appears to work: https://ricmac.org/?rest_route=/activitypub/1.0/webfinger&resource=acct:[email protected]

But I’m not sure how to turn that into a working link for Mastodon…
