    Hi all,

I recently updated to WordPress 6.1 and Twenty Twenty Two 1.3 and now the layout of my site is broken. If you look at the link you’ll see the header, navigation bar are particularly impacted. The thing is, all looks fine / as normal in the Site Editor?

    Thanks in advance!

I am having similar issues. I think they changed the container size of the navigation. Or something similar.

I was able to fix it on my end by changing some css in the customizer, with help I received in this thread.

Though I am still having issues with the menu on a phone screen.

Site Editor still has the beta flag on it… we are probably in for a few more wonky updates, I imagine!

Hi @josullivanc – I had a peek at your site but everything looks OK to my eyes. Did you get this issue sorted, and if so, would you mind sharing a screenshot of what was broken (if you have one available) and what you did to fix it, in case it helps others?

@tracyrosen – thanks for chiming in!

    Hi,

Where you able to solve this?

I’m having similar issues with the same update. The layout in the site editor looks perfectly fine, however as soon as I’m publishing, everything is completely broken. All the spacing on the sides seem to be gone and groups and columns are not taking the alignment into account. For example (also with other pages and header):
    Footer in editor
    Footer after publishing

Another example is the social media buttons. In the editor I see round images, but after publishing, they are stretched out across the column.

    Social media buttons after publishing

    Hi @daniweijers

Do you have any custom CSS that might have been used previously, it might be causing the changes you are seeing now.

You can also share links to the affected pages so that we can have a look.

    Hi, thanks for your response!

It’s a fairly new site, started only 2/3 months ago. I narrowed it down to the WordPress 6.1.1 update. I removed all custom CSS to make sure it’s not impacting anything.

For a comparison, this is the staging/testing website running on WP 6.1.1: Site after update
This is the website running one version lower: Site before update
