Hi, great advances on this theme.

Is there any way to apply different sets of styles to different templates?
Let’s say I want to configure a “Light” styles set and a “Dark” styles set. Then I want to apply Dark style to some teplates and Light style to other templates.
    Is it possible?
Or may be I want to apply different styles to different Temmplate parts.
If not possible yet, this would be a great feature to add!

    Thanks!

It sounds like you want to know if you can have templates with different styles, this is possible. You can design each template the way you want, with dark and light styles etc. The article below shows how you can access and edit templates

Or may be I want to apply different styles to different Temmplate parts.

Additionally, you can edit template parts to your preference for example header & footer. You can get more information about this in the article below:

Let me know if that helps

    Hi Thelma,
thank you for your response and sorry for replying so late.

I know I can edit colors, layout and fonts in each template, but
It seems to me a waste of time to have the style settings on one side and not being able to apply them together to different templates.

I don’t want my whole site to use the same style, I want to define one style for a certain type of content and another style for another type of content.

For example, let’s say I plan to post
    – A template for texts, and another template for quotes.
    – A template for videos, and another template for illustrations.
    I would like to be able to define a dark style with a serif font and apply it to the illustration and video templates;
And then define another style with light colors and sans-serif typography to apply it to the text and quote templates.

Just an example, but I really think this should be a feature to include.

I created a new template, it contains only a group block with a post content block inside.
Then I applied background and text color to group block.
When I apply this template to any post, the colors are shown on front-end, but in editor i see all black and white, default colors, not those previously defined by me.
    This is not WYSIWYG.

    Hi @damen02

It sounds like you want to create a design that you can use on other pages. This is something you can achieve using a re-usable block.

You can save the group block you created as a reusable block, you will be able to add this block on other pages and posts. You can read more about reusable blocks on the article below:

    Reusable Blocks

If you have a design with a lot of blocks you want to save, you can also use patterns. Once you create a pattern it can be used on your site or any other WordPress site:

    https://www.ads-software.com/patterns/

When I apply this template to any post, the colors are shown on front-end, but in editor i see all black and white, default colors, not those previously defined by me.

Is this a custom template you created?

Can you please temporarily deactivate all plugins except Gutenberg, to see if the issue persists.

@damen02 Hi there, just checking in to see if you still need any help with this, or did you get it sorted?
